Preparation Method :
- Add the oil and the ground masala paste in a Microwave safe bowl & microwave it on high for 6 minutes. Stirring after every 2 minutes. Till Masala turns brown lightly.
- Add the tomatoes, garlic, ginger and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Stirring once after 3 minutes.
- Add the chicken pieces, the fried onion paste, 1 cup of water, salt and microwave on high for 10 minutes. Stirring once after 5 minutes.
- Add the cream, saffron and microwave on high for 10 minutes, stirring once after 5 mints.
- Add the cream, saffron and microwave on high for another 2 mints.
- Serve hot with parathas or rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 medium sized Chicken (1.2 kgs) cut into 8 pieces
- 300 grams onions, sliced & fried till brown & ground into a paste
- 100 grams tomatoes, blanched & chopped
- 2 tablespoon garlic & ginger
- 4 tablespoon fresh cream
- 2 pinches saffron dissolved in ½ cup water
- 3 tablespoon Cooking oil
- Salt to taste
To be ground to a smooth paste:
- 6 dry red chilli
- 1 tablespoon poppy seed
- 8 almonds
- 6 cashew nuts
- 4 cloves
- 2 small cinnamons
- 3 cardamoms
- 50 ml water
