MURGH MAKHAN MALAAI

Preparation Method :

  • Wash the chicken.
  • Marinate chicken with salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder for one hour.
  • Heat the oil in a heavy bottom pan and add the marinated chicken to it. Cook it for 15 minutes.
  • Now remove the chicken from the oil and keep aside.
  • Add tomato paste and fresh cream to the oil and cook it for 5 minutes.
  • Now add the chicken, carom seed powder and kasoori methi. Cook till the oil separates and the chicken is tender.
  • Garnish with cream and fenugreek leaves and serve with naan or paratha.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams Boneless Chicken (cut into chunks)
  • 100 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 100 grams Fresh cream
  • 3 teaspoons carom seeds (ajwain) powdered
  • 2 teaspoons Dry Fenugreek leaves ( Kasoori methi)
  • 5 teaspoons Coriander powder (dhaniya)
  • 3 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoons Turmeric Powder
  • 1½ teaspoons Garam masala powder
  • 6 Tomatoes (Ground to a paste)
