CHICKEN PEPPER STIR FRY

Preparation Method :
- Cut the chicken into thin slices, combine with freshly ground peppercorns and salt, keep aside for 5 minutes.
- Heat a pan on medium flame, add sesame oil.
- Add whole cardamom, cloves, star anise, bay leaves, whole peppercorns into the oil, saute till the spices get aromatic.
- Add the green chillies to the spices, saute for a while.
- Add the chicken slices, stir fry till the chicken has cooked well and turns light golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and keep aside.
- In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon sesame oil, add the green pepper and red pepper, season with ground pepper and salt.
- Stir fry for a few minutes till the peppers are just cooked.
- To the cooked peppers, add the cooked chicken, mix well and cook for a minute.
- Remove the pan from the heat.
- Suitable to Serve with rice, wrap it in a tortilla, pita bread or chapati.
INGREDIENTS
To marinate chicken
- 3 Chicken breasts or thighs, cut into wedges
- 1½ teaspoon freshly ground peppercorns
- Salt to taste
- 3 tablespoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
- 2 Whole cardamoms
- 2 Whole cloves
- 1 Star anise seed
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon Whole peppercorns
- 3 Green chillis cut lengthwise
For cooking Veggies
- 1 tablespoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
- 2 Green pepper, cut into wedges
- 2 Red peppers, cut into wedges
- ¼ teaspoon Ground pepper
- Salt to taste
