CHICKEN PEPPER STIR FRY

Serves :
3

Preparation Time :
5 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cut the chicken into thin slices, combine with freshly ground peppercorns and salt, keep aside for 5 minutes.
  • Heat a pan on medium flame, add sesame oil.
  • Add whole cardamom, cloves, star anise, bay leaves, whole peppercorns into the oil, saute till the spices get aromatic.
  • Add the green chillies to the spices, saute for a while.
  • Add the chicken slices, stir fry till the chicken has cooked well and turns light golden brown.
  • Remove the chicken from the pan and keep aside.
  • In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon sesame oil, add the green pepper and red pepper, season with ground pepper and salt.
  • Stir fry for a few minutes till the peppers are just cooked.
  • To the cooked peppers, add the cooked chicken, mix well and cook for a minute.
  • Remove the pan from the heat.
  • Suitable to Serve with rice, wrap it in a tortilla, pita bread or chapati.

INGREDIENTS

To marinate chicken

  • 3 Chicken breasts or thighs, cut into wedges
  • 1½ teaspoon freshly ground peppercorns
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
  • 2 Whole cardamoms
  • 2 Whole cloves
  • 1 Star anise seed
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Whole peppercorns
  • 3 Green chillis cut lengthwise

For cooking Veggies

  • 1 tablespoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
  • 2 Green pepper, cut into wedges
  • 2 Red peppers, cut into wedges
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground pepper
  • Salt to taste
