Preparation Method :
- Combine chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, salt, turmeric powder, chili powder, ginger-garlic paste,coriander powder, garam masala and cumin powder in a bowl and mix well.
- Leave aside for an hour to marinate chicken.
- Heat oil in a pan and add marinated chicken in it. Add sufficient water to the marinated chicken and cook till tender and the gravy coats well with the chicken.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with naan, chapathi or roti.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 kg Chicken, Cut into medium-sized pieces
- 2 medium Onions, finely chopped
- 1 medium tomato, chopped finely
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons Red Chili powder
- 2 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 2 teaspoons Cumin powder
- 3 teaspoons Ginger-Garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala
- 6 tablespoons Yogurt, whisked
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon fresh Coriander leaves, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- 100 ml IDHAYAM Mantra Peanut oil
