CHILLI PRAWN GRAVY

Preparation Method :
- Cut the onions from the spring onion and chop into small cubes.
- Add maida, soy sauce and salt to the cleaned prawns and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep fring pan.
- Add prawns one by one and deep fry them for 2-3 minutes.
- Usually prawn takes little time to cook. Don't over cook them as they would become hard after cooking.
- Prepare Chilli Prawn:
- Heat 3 teaspoon of oil in a wok.
- Add ginger and garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add onion cubes (Spring onion) and saute them for another 2 minutes.
- Add Capsicum to the onions and saute them for a minute.
- Add the fried prawns and saute them for 1 minute.
- Add soya sauce to the prawns and saute them for 2 minutes.
- Add Red chilli sauce and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add 3-4 teaspoon of water to it and bring it to boil.
- Dissolve corn flour in water and add to the boiling prawn gravy. This would thicken the gravy.
- Add salt to taste.Remember Soy sauce already has salt in it and we have added salt to the prawn also, while deep frying it.
- Add spring onion leaves and vinegar.
- Yummy chilli Prawn gravy is ready.
- Serve hot with Egg fried Rice.

- 250 grams Prawns, deveined and cleaned
- 1 teaspoon Ginger, Cut into small pieces
- 1 teaspoon Garlic, Cut into small pieces
- 3 teaspoon Plain flour (Maida)
- 3-4 teaspoon Soya sauce
- 2 teaspoon Red chilli sauce/paste
- 1 whole bunch Spring onions
- 1 teaspoon Vinegar
- 2 teaspoon Corn flour
- 1 Medium Capsicum, Cut into small cubes
- 200 ml IDHAYAM sesame Oil
