BALTI SPICED PRAWNS WITH PEAS

Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a Balti pan, wok or large frying pan over a medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 5 minutes. Add the chilli, turmeric and spice mix and cook for a further 5 minutes.
- Add the prawns to the pan with a little water and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the peas and sugar and cook for a further 5 minutes, adding a little more water to make a fairly thick sauce.
- Add half the coriander and cook for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with the rest of the coriander and serve
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams prawns
- 50 ml sesame oil
- 4 small onions, finely chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, crushed
- 6 green chillies, chopped
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 3 tablespoon Balti spice mix
- Pinch of salt
- 200 grams peas
- 2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 3 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped
