MINCED LAMB WITH PEAS

Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil and fry the onion for about 2 - 3 minutes over a medium heat. Add the garlic, ginger with chillies and fry for 2 more minutes.
- Add the minced lamb and stir-fry briskly over a high heat for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cumin, coriander, chilli powder and salt with measured water. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Add in the peas and lemon juice. Cook, uncovered for about 8 - 10 minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander and chilli powder, serve with naan and natural yogurt.

- 150 grams frozen peas, thawed
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 50 ml Cooking oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 inch piece fresh root ginger, grated
- 3 fresh green chillies, finely chopped
- 1½ teaspoon chilli powder
- Salt, to taste
- Naan and plain yogurt, to serve
