Preparation Method :
- Rub over the fish with turmeric, lime juice and salt mixture , Cover and marinate for 10 -15 minutes.
- Grind the onion, chili, garlic, cashew nuts, fennel seeds and coconut to a paste. Transfer the paste into a bowl .
- Heat the oil in a large heavy pan and fry the cumin seeds until they begin to splutter.
- Add the paste and fry for about 5 minutes, then stir in the ground coriander, cumin, salt and water and cook for about 2 minutes.
- Then add the yogurt and chopped fresh coriander, Simmer gently for 5 minutes.
- Add the fish pieces and gently stir in, Cover and cook gently for 10-12 minutes until the fish is tender. Garnish with coriander.

- 4 cod fillets, skinned and cut into chunks
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 fresh green chili, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 100 grams cashew nuts
- ½ teaspoon fennel seeds
- 2 tablespoon desiccated (dry unsweetened shredded) coconut
- 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon ground coriander
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 175 ml water
- 175 grams natural (plain) low fat yogurt
- 4 tablespoon finely chopped fresh coriander (cilantro), plus extra to garnish
