Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a Balti pan, wok or large frying pan over a medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and cook for about 10 minutes until softened and beginning to brown.
- Mix the garam masala with the remaining ghee (melted) or oil and enough water to make a stiff paste.
- Add the green chilli, garam masala paste and fish to the pan and gently stir fry for 5-10 minutes.
- Gradually add the milk, stirring carefully, and simmer over a low heat for a further 10 minutes.
- Serve sprinkled with a little garam masala.

- 50 ml Sesame oil
- 4 small onions, finely chopped
- 5 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoon Balti garam masala
- 200 ml milk
- 2 tablespoon fresh coriander, finely chopped
- Pinch of Balti garam masala
