Preparation Method :
- Puree the onion, coriander, cloves and cardamom in 3-4 tablespoons of the water in a blender or food processor until smooth.
- Saute the chillies, ginger, garlic, and the spice mixture in the oil for 2 minutes. Add the beef and fry until browned.
- Add the rest of the water and simmer, covered, until meat is very tender, about 1 hour.
- Add the yogurt and nutmeg and stir until well mixed.
- Simmer for 5 minutes, or until the mixture is heated through.

- 2 cardamom seeds
- 500 ml water
- 4 dried hot chillies, crushed
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger root
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped or crushed
- 4 tablespoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
- 1 kg lean beef, cut in to tiny strips
- 4 tablespoon plain yogurt
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
