SINDHI KOKI

Preparation Method :

  • Chop onions very fine.
  • Sieve flour; add salt, onions, cumin seeds, Onions, chopped green chillies, Coriander leaves and 1 tablespoon oil. Mix well by adding little water, knead into stiff dough.
  •  Divide the dough in to 3 to 4 portions. Take each portion and roll it with rolling pin just to flatten the roll. Do not roll it much.
  • Slightly roast it on both sides on hot tawa, take it off the flame and place on rolling board. Again roll it with rolling pin (This helps to make koki bit flaky than chewy).
  • Place it on tawa again, cook on medium flame by adding little oil till it started browning.
  • Repeat the process for remaining dough.
  • Serve hot with Curd.

  • 400 grams wheat flour
  • 1 large Onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 green Chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
