KHASTA ROTI

Preparation Time :
45 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Sift the flour; add salt, sugar and carom seeds. Knead into hard dough with water. Cover with a moist cloth and keep aside for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into 10-12 balls. Dust and roll each into roti. Prick with a fork evenly.
  • Bake the roti in a preheated oven at 190°C / 375°F / Gas mark 5 for about 8-10 minutes or until light brown in colour.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams wholewheat flour
  • 200 ml Water
  • 2 teaspoon Carom seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • Salt to taste
