ULTEY TAWE KA PARATHA

Preparation Method :

  • Blend cashew nut paste, sugar, milk and baking powder, knead with flour and salt mixture to a spongy dough.
  • Divide the dough into 8-10 portions and place them on a floured surface. Roll each portion out into a disc.
  • Apply spoonful of melted ghee evenly over it and dust with flour. Make a radial cut with a knife and starting with one end of the cut, roll the disc firmly into a conical shape.
  • Hold each one between thumb and forefinger and make spiral movements to compress the rest of the cone to make a ball, Dust with flour and roll again.
  • Place the disc on a pre-heated inverted griddle, apply ghee and press the dill with a dry cloth from all sides until light brown.
  • Apply ghee and remove. Repeat with the other discs. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams refined flour
  • 200 ml milk
  • 50 grams cashew nut paste
  • 150 grams ghee
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt to taste
