BESAN PARATHA

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix all the ingredients with water to a soft dough. Knead for about 10 -15 minutes.
  • Make equal size balls of dough and roll it into disc.
  • Dab with a little ghee and make a half way cut from the end to the centre. Roll, starting from the slit, to form a cone.
  • Press the cone,roll into dry wheat flour and roll out into a thin round paratha.
  • Cook both sides of the paratha (parotta) on a griddle with ghee.
  • Fry till golden brown on both sides.

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 grams atta
  • 200 grams gram flour
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 3 tablespoon ghee
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely powdered coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies
  • 2 teaspoon pomegranate seeds
