Preparation Method :
- Mix the yeast, sugar and water, keep aside for about 10-12 minutes.
- Knead the sifted flour, salt and butter, add the yeast mixture, milk and eggs into a smooth, elastic dough.
- Cover with a damp cloth and keep in a warm place till it rises to almost double its volume.
- Knead again and divide the dough into 20-22 balls. Roll each out into thick disc.
- Lay the discs on a greased tray, sprinkle onion seeds till the disc rises double in size.
- Deep fry the discs in a wok till golden brown. Remove and drain the excess oil. Serve hot.

- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 200 ml lukewarm water
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 2 teaspoon yeast, granulated
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon onion seeds
- Ghee for deep-frying
- Salt to taste
