Preparation Method :
- Mix the warm milk with sugar and yeast, set aside for about half an hour.
- Mix the flour with salt, yeast mixture and ghee. Gradually add the yogurt and knead into a soft dough. Cover with a moist cloth and leave aside for about 2-4 hours.
- Add a little warm water and knead well again, if required.
- Divide the dough into 10-12 equal portions and roll them out into thick discs. Place them on a baking tray. Cover with a damp cloth and allow it to stand for about half an hour or until it rises.
- Brush the top with a little milk or ghee and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- Bake in a preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes. Remove and shallow fry on a griddle with oil till golden.

- 500 grams refined flour
- 200 ml warm milk
- 50 grams yogurt
- 100 ml water
- 2 tablespoon ghee
- 2 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 2 teaspoon yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
