CHUTNEY PODI (CHUTNEY POWDER)

Makes :
200 Grams

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
5 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Fry the red chillies and the asafoetida powder in the oil.
  • Mix all the ingredients together and powder fine. Serve with hot rice and ghee.

INGREDIENTS

  • 75 grams Bengal gram dal, dry roasted
  • 75 grams black gram dal, dry roasted
  • 75 grams grated copra, dry roasted
  • 10-12 dry red chillies
  • ½ teaspoon asafoetida powder
  • 2 teaspoon Cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon powdered jaggery
  • A marble-sized tamarind ball
  • A few curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
