RED GRAM ULARTHIYATHU

20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Fry mustard in hot oil and then sauté the chopped onions till brown in colour.
  • Add curry leaves and sauté, then add in the crushed ingredients. When lightly sauteed stir in the cooked gram and add salt to taste.
  • Keep stirring now and then. When the water is absorbed and the dish is well roasted remove from heat.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams red gram - boiled
  • 30 grams large onion chopped
  • 2 dry red chillies, crushed
  • 10 - 12 Button onions, crushed
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 6 garlic cloves in skin, crushed
  • ½ teaspoon pepper, crushed
  • Few curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
