PAPPAYA VATTICHULARTHIATHU

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the papaya slices in steam.
  • Fry mustard in hot oil and sauté onion slices. Add turmeric and the crushed chilli, pepper and garlic.
  • When fried add papaya and sauté for few minutes. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoon onion slices
  • 2 cups papaya slices, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • ½ teaspoon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 9 peppercorns, crushed
  • 6 garlic flakes in skin, crushed
  • 2 dry red chilies, crushed
  • Salt to taste
