LLUMBANAPULI VATTICHATHU

Preparation Method :

  • Rub the grated coconut, onion with green-chilli, ginger and curry leaves. Toss in the illumbanpuli slices and mix gently. Pour the oil along the periphery.
  • Cover and cook over slow fire till the water is absorbed. Serve cold.

INGREDIENTS

  • 75 grams grated coconut
  • 60 grams onion slices thin and long
  • 400 grams illumbanpuli slices, soaked in warm water, drained and squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon green chilli slices round
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger finely chopped 
  • A few curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
