PRAWN MASALA STEW

Preparation Method :

  • Grind the broiled chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garlic, ginger.
  • Heat oil and saute the onion, green chillies, garlic, ginger and curry leaves and remove.
  • Reduce heat and brown the ground paste in the remaining oil, Add prawns and saute. Add salt, vinegar and sufficient water to cook the prawns.
  • Cover with a deep pan containing water. When it is almost done mix coconut milk. Bring to boil and remove. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams Small prawns 
  • ½ teaspoon Broiled chilli powder 
  • 1 teaspoon Broiled coriander powder 
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder 
  • 4 Garlic flakes 
  • ¼ teaspoon Ginger sliced long 
  • 50 ml Cooking Oil 
  • 100 grams Onion sliced long 
  • 5 Green chillies split 
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic flakes 
  • ½ teaspoon Ginger sliced long 
  • A few stalks Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste 
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar 
  • 120 grams Thick milk extracted from 200 grams of grated coconut
