ERACHI ULATHIYATHU

Preparation Method :

  • Mix all ingredients except oil and coconut, smear meat with the mix.
  • Sprinkle a tiny pinch of turmeric powder and salt on the coconut flakes and fry a golden yellow.
  • Add the meat, stir, and cook covered over low flame. Stir occasionally. Pour a little boiling water if necessary.
  • Alternatively this can be pressure cooked initially, and then cooked almost dry over open fire.
  • If you intend to retry, that portion needs to be portioned and kept aside separately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams Beef
  • 3 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 3 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 15 Small onions, sliced
  • 1" Ginger, sliced
  • 6 Cloves, Powdered
  • 2" Cinnamon, Powdered
  • Salt to taste
  • 200 grams Tender coconut flakes
  • 5 spring Curry leaves
  • 200 ml Coconut Oil
