Preparation Method :

  • Crush the coconut a little; add the onions, ginger, green chillies, kokum, salt and the water. Stir in the oil and curry leaves.
  • Place on fire and bring to boil, gently lay the cut up pieces of fish on the surface and cover.
  • Cook over medium flame till most of the water evaporates.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams Fresh Sardines
  • 200 grams Grated coconut
  • 6 Green chillies, chopped
  • 1 " Ginger, crushed
  • 5 Garlic, crushed
  • 8 Small onions
  • 50 ml Coconut oil
  • 4 spring Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 Kokum
