Preparation Method :
- Place fish steaks in a small quantity of water with vinegar, salt and keep them in the vinegar water for 10 minutes.
- Wash the steaks under running water and dry them by squeezing one by one between your hands.
- Make a paste from all the remaining ingredients except the oil and rub it into the fish steaks.
- Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan.
- Add all four pieces of fish into the hot pan and fry for 3 minutes and then turn over and try for another 3 minutes. Arrange the fish on a cold serving dish.
- Garnish with raw onion rings, finely sliced tomatoes, some fried curry leaves and lemon wedges.

- 5 tablespoon lemon juice
