FISH MOLEE

Preparation Method :

  • Heat 5 ml oil and fry the vermicelli without changing colour, Cool and wash. Boil ½ cup of water with salt and add vermicelli in it, Cook and remove.
  • Saute the Onions, Ginger, Garlic, Green chillies, Pepper corns, each broken into 2 without changing colour.
  • Add the fish slices, enough salt, vinegar, water and turmeric powder. Cover the pan and cook slowly.
  • When the gravy thickens add coconut milk in which the cooked vermicelli is mixed. Simmer without curdling. Remove from fire and serve hot with Coriander leaves and mint leaves.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams Fish slices gashed
  • 10 grams Vermicelli
  • 100 ml Water
  • Salt to taste
  • 50 ml IDHAYAM sesame Oil
  • 100 grams Onions sliced long
  • ½ teaspoon Ginger sliced long 
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic slices 
  • 6 Green chillies, split at one end
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper corns, each broken into 2 
  • Salt to taste
  • Vinegar, water, turmeric powder as sufficient
  • 120 ml Milk extracted from 1 cup of grated coconut
