KALLAPPAM

Preparation Method :

  • Prepare porridge with semolina and water Add sugar, yeast, rice flour. Knead well for ten minutes to get a soft dough. Keep aside for a few hours to ferment.
  • Add coconut paste and salt, mix well to obtain a slightly thick batter.
  • Heat a heavy iron griddle, grease well.
  • Ladle on a spoonful of batter, cook a few minutes, turn over.
  • Serve with a spicy chicken or meat dish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams Rice flour             
  • 3 tablespoon Semolina          
  • 4 tablespoon Sugar                
  • 1 teaspoon Dry yeast             
  • 300 grams Ground coconut paste             
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
