SAVOURY TINDLI

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the ghee and fry onion till soft.
  • Add vegetable and the ground paste with turmeric and salt.
  • Mix well with a cup water, cook till tender and dry.
  • Serve decorated with grated coconut and coriander leaves.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams tindli, washed and cut into lengthwise pieces
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2-3 green chillies
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons finely grated coconut
  • Handful of coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • Salt, to taste

Ground to Paste

  • 90 grams coconut
  • 2 red chillies
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
