DRUMSTICK LEAF BHAJEE

20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the leaves with ¾ cup water on a low heat for about 10 minutes or until done.
  • Add the jackfruit seeds and dal.
  • When cooked add all the remaining ingredients and stir.
  • Cook for further 2 minutes or until the water evaporates.
  • Serve with meat or vegetable dishes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 Jackfruit seeds, cut into small pieces    
  • 220 grams Drumsticks leaves, discard the stalks and cut finely
  • 25 grams shredded Coconut
  • 2 tablespoons Jaggery
  • ½ teaspoon Chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Toor dhal
  • Salt to taste
