TIRAMISU

Preparation Time :

Preparation Method :

  • Glass Portion: Whisk egg yolks and sugar till fluffy. Add in the mascarpone cheese and cream.
  • Whisk whites till stiff. Fold in the egg mixture and combine coffee, sugar, coffee essence, orange zest, kahlua and blend well. Keep aside.
  • Soak a finger biscuit in coffee syrup and place it at the bottom of a martini glass.
  • Add a layer of tiramisu cream on top of this using a piping bag.
  • Now add another layer of soaked biscuit on top of the tiramisu cream and top it with another layer of the cream.
  • Refrigerate after 3-4 hours.
  • Before serving dust the surface with cocoa powder.
  • Can be prepared as a cake.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams Mascarpone cheese    
  • 120 grams Egg yolks    
  • 125 grams Sugar    
  • 175 grams Egg whites    
  • 150 grams Whipped cream    

For the Coffee Syrup    

  • 100 grams Coffee    
  • 45 grams Sugar    
  • 2 teaspoon Coffee essence    
  • 1 teaspoon Orange zest    
  • 4 Finger biscuits    
  • 2 teaspoon Kahlua    

For the Garnish     

  • ½ teaspoon Cocoa powder    
  • 1 Finger biscuit
