RAVA BURFI

Preparation Method :

  • Add all the ingredients except essence and nuts in a pan and cook stirring all the time till the mixture turns thick and leaves the sides of the vessel.
  • Mix in the essence and remove from fire, put in a greased tray, level the surface and sprinkle nuts on the top.
  • Cool thoroughly, cut into small squares and store in airtight container.

INGREDIENTS

  • 350 grams sugar
  • 200 grams ghee
  • 100 grams finely grated coconut.
  • 150 grams rava
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 teaspoon powdered cardamoms
  • Few drops saffron essence
  • 12 almonds, pistachios and cashewnuts (each), finely chopped
