Preparation Method :
- Mix cornflour with a little ghee and salt to form thin and smooth paste, rub in the remaining ghee, then pour in enough water to form a dough of medium consistency. Cover and set aside.
- Filling: Mix in all the fried ingredients along with sugar and nutmeg, set aside.
- Divide the dough into lime-sized balls and roll out each ball into a round disc. Apply cornflour paste over each chapati and sandwich.
- The last one should be clean, then roll them out again into one big round without breaking it. Stamp out rounds with the help of a biscuit cutter.
- Put a little filling on one half of the round, fold over the other half to form a crescent and seal and crimp the edges together.
- Deep fry on both the sides to a cream colour. Drain thoroughly, cool and store in airtight containers.

- 1 coconut, finely grated, fried
- 250 grams powdered sugar
- 250 grams semolina, fried
- 30 grams each almonds, pistachios, cashewnuts and charoli, fried and pound coarsely
- 90 grams raisins, fried
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds, fried
- 2 teaspoon cardamom seeds, pound coarsely
- ¼ teaspoon grated nutmeg
