Preparation Method :

  • Mix the rice, water, powdered cardamoms and salt together in a large saucepan and let it cool on a low flame gently stirring continuously.
  • Cook till the water evaporates.
  • Oil your palm and while the rice mixture is still hot roll into balls, about size of golf balls.
  • In a steamer, spread out a damp cloth and arrange the balls on the cloth.
  • Fold over the dumplings and steam for 15 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 grams broken rice
  • 150 ml cold water
  • 4 cardamoms powdered
  • 2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt to taste
