FLAMING BANANA FRITTERS

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Beat the egg nicely, mix in the flour then add enough milk to form a thick batter. Cut banana into thin and long slices.
  • Dip the banana slices in batter and deep fry to a golden colour. Put fritters in a serving plate.
  • Mix marmalade and orange juice. Melt the butter, add the marmalade mixture and blend thoroughly. Pour over banana pieces.
  • Just before serving heat brandy light with a match and while the brandy is still flaming pour over the fritters. Serve at once.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange marmalade
  • 2 tablespoons refined flour.
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • Milk
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 2 teaspoon brandy
  • Cooking Oil, for deep fry
