FIO DE OVOS

Preparation Method :

  • Mix the grated coconut with the jaggery. Put in the dry fruit and nuts.
  • Dissolve the sugar in the water and cook it into a syrup till it reaches a consistency of two threads.
  • Beat the egg yolks with the milk. Stir in the egg yolk mixture into the syrup till it forms thread like noodles.
  • Cook the noodles for about 2 minutes and remove them from the syrup.
  • Spread the coconut mixture on to a platter and put the pile of the prepared noodles on top of it.
  • Garnish with dried finely diced cherries and sprinkle with cardamom powder.

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ teaspoon Powdered Cardamom
  • 2 tablespoon Chopped nuts
  • 3 tablespoon Dry Fruit
  • 220 grams Coconut, Grated
  • 45 grams Jaggery, Grounded
  • Egg Noodles
  • 9 Egg yolks
  • 100 ml Milk
  • Sugar Syrup
  • 150 grams Sugar
  • Water
