PRAWN RESOIS

Preparation Method :

  • Wash and clean the prawns.
  • Chop onions fine. Grate the cheese.
  • Saute the prawns with chopped onion till it is translucent. Now add in the flour and cook lightly to form a roux.
  • Add in milk a little at a time to form a thick sauce. Add grated cheese and check seasoning.
  • Make firm dough with flour, egg, butter and salt.
  • Roll to 3 mm thickness and cut into discs.
  • Fill the discs with prawn mixture. Fold in half moon shapes and seal.
  • Coat the crescents with egg wash and then roll in semolina.
  • Heat oil and deep fry till golden brown.

INGREDIENTS

  • 225 grams Prawn    
  • 75 grams Onion    
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 150 ml Milk    
  • 50 grams Cheese    
  • 50 grams Flour    
  • 75 grams Semolina or bread crumbs    
  • Egg wash
  • Cooking oil to fry

For Dough

  • 150 grams Flour    
  • 2 teaspoon Butter    
  • 1 Egg
