CRAB AND CORIANDER CAKES

Preparation Method :

  • Clean and boil the crab. Remove the crab meat.
  • Chop onions, garlic, green chilies and coriander fine.
  • Boil potatoes and mash them into a creamy 'hash'.
  • Heat 20 ml oil in a pan. Add chopped onions, when onions begin to sweat, add chopped garlic and cook till it turns to golden brown.
  • Add the crabmeat to this mixture and cook for about 10 minutes. Then add mashed potato, green chilies, coriander leaves and salt. Mix it to blend evenly.
  • Cool the mixture and shape it to small round cakes.
  • Heat the remaining oil in a pan and shallow fry the crab cakes till they become golden brown.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams Crab meat        
  • 50 grams Onion
  • 2 teaspoon Green chilies
  • 2 teaspoon  Garlic
  • 50 grams Coriander leaves
  • 50 grams Potatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • 50 ml Cooking oil
