Preparation Method :
- Tomato Bisque: Stew the onion and tomato together for 10 - 15 minutes. Set it aside for about 5 minutes.
- Pass the mixture through a sieve and return to the fire.
- Add sugar, baking soda, pepper and salt. Heat milk in double boiler. When hot add butter, corn starch and stir till it thickens.
- Now add the boiling milk mixture to the tomato mixture. Stir and add the sweet cream stirring constantly.
- Crab-Tomato Bisque: Melt butter in a pan and sauté onion and celery until soft.
- Stir in the prepared tomato bisque, milk and crab meat. Heat to serving temperature.

- 500 grams Crab meat
- 600 ml Milk
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 2 stalks Celery, Rinsed and finely chopped
- 600 grams Tomato bisque
For the Tomato Bisque
- 400 ml Sweet cream
- 300 ml Milk
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 tablespoon Corn starch
- 250 grams Tomatoes, roughly chopped
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- Salt and pepper to taste
