POTATO RISSOLES

Preparation Method :

  • Spread a portion of mashed potatoes evenly on your palm.
  • Place a tablespoon of mince in it.              
  • Shape into a cylinder.                  
  • Dip in eggs, roll in crumbs and dip once again in crumbs.
  • Deep fry to a golden colour. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 4 tablespoons cornflour
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Bread crumbs

Ground to Paste

  • 550 grams minced mutton, boiled
  • 100 grams onions, fried in little oil
  • 2-3 green chillies
  • ½ inch piece ginger, fried in little oil
  • 3-4 flakes garlic, fried in little oil
  • ½ teaspoon powdered cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • A few coriander and mint leaves
  • Salt and chilli powder to taste
