PRAWNS IN HOT CHILLI SAUCE

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil and fry the ground paste for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add in the tomatoes and the remaining ingredients, cook till thick.
  • Put in the prawns, vinegar and cover with water. Cook till the prawns are tender and gravy thick.

INGREDIENTS

  • 550 grams prawns, cleaned, washed and drained
  • 225 grams tomatoes, sliced
  • 50 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala

Ground Paste

  • 4-6 flakes garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • ½ inch piece ginger
  • Red chillies, to taste
  • 90 ml vinegar
  • Salt to taste
