PRAWN PATIO

Preparation Method :

  • Put ghee in a pan, add onions and saute till golden brown.
  • Add the paste and cook till the oil separates.
  • Add in the prawns, cook for about 5 minutes then add water. Bring to a boil, and then let it cook on a slow fire, till the prawns are cooked.
  • Add in the tamarind pulp, jaggery, chopped coriander and lemon juice and stir in the gravy for 3 - 5 minutes. Adjust the salt to taste.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg Prawns, cleaned and shelled
  • 25 grams Chopped Coriander
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 175 grams Chopped Onions
  • 100 grams Ghee
  • 5 tablespoon Tamarind pulp
  • 25 grams Jaggery  
  • Salt to taste

Paste : Grind with water

  • 2 tablespoon Coriander seeds
  • 6 Whole red chillies
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 2 tablespoon Garlic, chopped
  • 6 Cloves
  • ¾ inch Cinnamon
  • 1½ teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
