PRAWN CURRY GOA STYLE

Preparation Method :

  • Grate coconut and take the first extract of coconut milk.
  • Grind the left over extracted coconut, red chillies, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, peppercorn, turmeric, and garlic to a fine paste.
  • Add oil in a pan and sauté sliced onion. Add green chillies.
  • Now add the masala and thin down to curry consistency with coconut milk.
  • Add prawns and cook for about 10 minutes. Now add tamarind pulp and adjust seasoning with salt to taste.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg Prawns, Clean and marinate with salt.
  • 250 grams Coconut, grated,
  • 2 teaspoon Garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Tamarind pulp
  • 1 Onion, Sliced
  • 9 Red chillies, slited
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds
  • 5 Peppercorns  
  • 3 Green chillies
  • Salt to taste
