HALDI MIRCH JHEENGA

Preparation Method :

  • Slit and devien the prawns. Wash and pat dry. Place the prawns in a tray, open sides facing upwards.
  • Marinade prawns with the first marinade for an hour.
  • Apply the second marinade and keep aside for about 3 - 4 hours.
  • Heat ghee in a medium pan, add prawns. Cover and cook under steam till done.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams King prawns
  • 1½ teaspoon Ghee

First marinade

  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • ½ teaspoon Lime juice
  • Salt to taste

Second marinade

  • 1 tablespoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • ½ teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon Lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon Bishop's weed (ajwain)
  • ½ teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Yellow chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon Kasoori methi powder (fenugreek)
  • ½ teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon Chaat masala
  • Salt to taste
