Preparation Method :
- Heat oil in a pressure pan.
- Add dry red chillies, Cinnamon, Fennel seeds and fry till the turn black but take care not to burn them.
- Add shallots, curry leaves and garlic. Sauté until brown.
- Add turmeric powder, mutton cubes and enough water to cook the mutton.
- Add salt and pressure cook until 5 whistles.
- Remove mutton cubes and reduce the gravy by increasing the flame. Return the mutton pieces to the gravy.
- Cook until mutton becomes soft and gravy coats the pieces.
- Goes well with boiled white rice and even chapatis.

- 2 kilogram boneless mutton-washed and cut into cubes.
- 300 grams pearl onions, peeled, split into two
- 15 pods garlic peeled and split into two
- 50 dry red chillies de seeded and cut into halves
- 15 Curry leaves
- 1 stick Cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon Fennel seeds
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- Sesame Oil
- Salt to taste
