Preparation Method :
- Prepare the garlic butter by mixing finely chopped garlic and basil in softened butter. Set aside.
- Mix the tuna with the onion, scallions, tomato, bell pepper, garlic and basil with oregano, olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Lightly toast on both sides of the slices. Spread the garlic butter and top with tuna mixture. Garnish with olives and basil sprigs.
INGREDIENTS
- 6 bread slices
- 2 Tomato, deseeded, chopped
- 1 small Red Bell pepper, julienned
- 2 large cloves Garlic, chopped
- 1 sprig Basil, chopped
- ¼ teaspoon Oregano
- Extra virgin olive oil
- ½ small tin Tuna / ham / cold boiled chicken and paneer
- 3 each Black and green olives, sliced
- 1 Onion, chopped
- ¼ bunch Spring onions
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Garlic Butter
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic, chopped
- 6 leaves Basil, chopped
