STUFFED POMFRET GOAN STYLE

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Slit the fish on both sides along the bone with a sharp knife to form a pocket. Add salt and keep it aside.
  • Take all the ingredients and grind together.
  • Now stuff this masala evenly in the pomfret envelope on both sides.
  • Heat the oil in a flat bottomed pan and shallow fry.

INGREDIENTS

  • 600 grams Pomfret, Cleaned and rinsed
  • 75 ml Vinegar
  • 10 - 12 Dry chillies
  • 7 - 9 Peppercorns
  • 10 - 12 flakes Garlic
  • 3 Cloves    
  • ¼  " stick Cinnamon        
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds        
  • ½ teaspoon Sugar        
  • ½"size ball Tamarind        
  • Salt to taste        
  • Cooking oil to fry
