Preparation Method :
- Mix together the fish, onions, garlic, chillies, mashed potatoes, black pepper and salt. Taste and adjust the seasonings and shape to lemon-sized balls.
- Beat the eggs and dip the spiced balls into them and then roll them in the rice flour. Deep fry the balls in hot oil till they are golden.
- Remove from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain off the excess on an absorbent kitchen paper towel. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 300 grams Salted dried cod fish, soaked, drained, boiled and bones discarded
- 500 grams Boiled, peeled and mashed potatoes
- 225 grams Rice flour
- 150 grams onions, finely chopped
- 25 grams garlic, chopped
- 20 grams fresh chillies, chopped
- 4 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
- Salt to taste
- 3-4 Eggs
- Cooking oil to deep fry
