Preparation Method :
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin, mustard seeds, urad dhal, aniseed and fenugreek when crackle add crushed garlic, chopped onions and saute till golden brown.
- Add tomatoes, turmeric, green chillies, coriander powder, red chilli powder, salt and saute till the masala is completely cooked.
- Then add enough water along with coconut paste and mango cubes.
- Add the fish and cook for about 5-10 minutes or until fish is done, add in the curry leaves with tamarind pulp, coriander leaves. Adjust seasoning. Serve with rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams Fish, Cleaned and cut into cubes.
- 50 grams Cooking oil
- ¼ teaspoon Cumin seeds
- A pinch Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon Aniseed
- A pinch Urad dal
- A pinch Fenugreek
- 100 grams Onions chopped
- 6 Green chillies crushed
- 100 grams Tomatoes, chopped
- 25 grams Black tamarind pulp
- 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
- 2 tablespoons Red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon Coconut paste
- 2 Raw mangoes, cut into cubes
- A sprig Curry leaves
- A sprig Fresh coriander leaves
- 2 Garlic gloves crushed
- Salt to taste
