KING FISH BALCHAO

Preparation Method :

  • Take a pan, add oil and fry the fillets lightly. Remove from heat and keep aside in adsorbent kitchen paper.
  • In a pan add oil, fry chopped onions till brown.
  • Grind all ingredients together with vinegar to a fine paste.
  • Add the ground masala and fry for 2 minutes, add water and bring to boil.
  • When the mixture thickens, add the fish, vinegar and sugar.
  • Adjust seasoning and cook on a low flame till it gets a thick dry consistency.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams Kingfish, Clean, cut into fillets, apply salt.
  • 150 ml Cooking oil
  • 10-12 Red chillies
  • 8 Cloves    
  • 2" stick Cinnamon    
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 2 Onions, finely chopped    
  • 8 cloves Garlic    
  • 2" piece Ginger        
  • 175 ml  Vinegar        
  • Salt and Sugar to taste
