GREEN FISH CURRY

Preparation Method :
- Puree coriander and mint leaves together. Mix coriander powder with a little water to make a paste.
- Heat oil and add cumin seeds. When fried add the coriander powder paste.
- Now add the coconut / spice paste and saute for about 3 - 5 minutes.
- Stir constantly by adding a little water if necessary to avoid it sticking to the pan.
- Add the pureed coriander and mint leaves. Adjust seasoning with salt, add the sugar and remaining lime juice.
- Add the fish pieces and cook over medium heat till done and serve with rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams Fish filets, Rinsed, Marinated with half the lime juice with the turmeric, a pinch of salt and a little water for 20 - 30 minutes
- 1 tablespoon Poppy seeds, pounded and grind to paste
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 25 grams Cashew nuts
- 4 Green cardamom
- ¼ teaspoon Mace powder
- ¼ teaspoon Fennel seeds
- 2 tablespoon Lime juice
- A pinch Turmeric powder
- 50 grams Coconut grated
- 6 Green chillies
- 1 Onion chopped
- 100 grams Coriander leaves
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- A few Mint leaves
- 50 ml Cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon Sugar
- Salt to taste
