GOAN SPICED MUSSELS

Preparation Method :
- Marinate the mussels with the spicy paste and adjust seasoning with salt, keep them aside for an hour or two.
- Heat oil and gently stir-fry the onions until they are golden brown. Add in the marinated mussels and gently cook for about 10-12 minutes.
- Stir occasionally to prevent the spice paste from sticking to the bottom and burning.
- Simmer to low flame and cook for another 5-7 minutes, stir in the coriander leaves and remove from the heat. Replace the mussels in the reserved shells and serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams Mussels, remove from shells, washed and cleaned, reserve the shells
- 60 grams Chopped onions
- 2 tablespoon Peeled garlic
- 2 tablespoon Cleaned ginger
- 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon Chopped coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
Ground to Paste
- 25 grams Dried red chillies
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 2 tablespoon Malt vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
